Inter Milan UEFA Clean Sweep Award

Inter Milan UEFA Clean Sweep Award ; Appeared as the most successful club last season, Inter Milan complete list of awards by placing four of their retainer as a version of the UEFA European Player of the Year, Friday (27/08/2010).

UEFA announced the best players list along with drawings of the Champions League in Monaco, Thursday evening local time. Put five players in each nomination (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker), I wiped the whole award Nerazzurri.

Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar was chosen to be the best, beating his rival, Hugo Lloris (Olympique Lyon) and Victor Valdes (Barcelona).

Meanwhile, Douglas Maicon, who was linked with Real Madrid, has been named the best defender. Maicon beat his team mate Lucio and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique tough.

For the category of best midfielder, Wesley Sneijder successfully won the trophy beating Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez and a former teammate at Real Madrid, Arjen Robben.

Bomber veteran Argentine Diego Milito grabbed two awards at the same time, after becoming a key figure in the final victory of Inter's Champions League 2009/2010. Besides selected as the best striker beat Wayne Rooney and Lionel Messi, Milito was also crowned as Player of the Year.
