Futuristic wrist-worn charger fixes 3DS battery woes

Futuristic wrist-worn charger fixes 3DS battery woes : There are some gadgets you just need in your life the moment you see them. This is one of them - the Universal Gadget Wrist Charger or the 'Bracer of Battery Life +2', if you like gadgets with stupid names.

Whatever it's called, this could be a life-saver for 3DS owners worried that the much-criticised three-hour battery life of their new handheld won't see them to take off, let alone through the duration of an upcoming flight.

That little wrist device houses a rechargeable 5.5V lithium ion battery with a capacity of 1,500mAh. A short cable reaches from your wrist to the handheld device of your choosing, including Apple's iDevices, Nokia and other cellphones and, most importantly, DSi - which just happens to use the same power cord as the 3DS.

It's not stipulated how much extra time it'd get you on 3DS, but every little counts, right?

It even has LED lights that show you how much juice you have left, and with a long-sleeve top/coat on, it'll look like you've plugged your 3DS into YOURSELF, like a human battery in the Matrix.

You can tell grannies on the bus that and they'd never know any better. Or, you could just be more conventional and buy a high-capacity battery replacement.
