The 64GB Wi-Fi and 3G iPad is available at price Rs. 41,900 in India.
The Indian market is different now compared when iPad was launched. Now Indian market has Notion Ink Adam tablet which is considered to be one of the most appealing tablet against Apple iPad. Also other players like Motorola Xoom, RIM BlackBerry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy Tab which will make entry in Indian tablet market and will make the game tough for iPad 2.
Though there is no official information on launch of iPad 2 in India. However given the past history of Apple in launching its products in India and other developing countries, it is not expected to launch in near future.
