Samsung Galaxy S2 price in UK ; However with Samsung set to release the Galaxy S2 on May 1st in UK, we are seeing a price tag that's a whole £100 lower (around $162).Accord to Phandroid, the price drop is because "Samsung has apparently reduced the price they ask for the S II when selling directly to retailers, translating into a lower cost for the end consumer."
A good example is UK retailer Unlocked Mobile who are taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S2 already. Their price point is £497.98 (around $810) inclusive of VAT.
Now of course that is still a hefty price tag but direct conversions are usually always higher than the actual set price points, and then there is also VAT.
